It’s that time of the year and I have started taking bookings for the spring trophy walleye season and beyond!
I will start my season April 1st or even possibly the last week of March, depending on the ice.
We will fish trophy walleye up until the first Saturday in May. After that the limit increases to five per guy and we will fill the box.
The month of June I will be in MKE chasing the salmon. So if you are interested in salmon fishing, this is your chance to fish with me down in the big city.
After that I will be back in Sturgeon Bay on the walleye and whatever is biting until the end of October.

Fat Nancy Sport Fishing
Fat Nancy Sport Fishing, LLC is a fully licensed and insured guide service. We fish the Bay of Green Bay, primarily off the Door County peninsula and on Lake Michigan out of Milwaukee.
Our 21ft, 2020 Ranger Angler 2080MS is what we will be spending our time on the water in. Powered by a 250 HP Mercury Pro XS and outfitted with Lowrance HDS live electronics will guide us on our fishing adventure. Everything for your fishing trip is included (rods, reels, tackle and live bait). Casting, jigging, trolling crank baits - whatever it takes, we have it covered!
Whats with the name?
Fat Nancy is not the name of my wife or an ex-girlfriend, nor is it the name of your aunt on your mother's side twice removed. Fat Nancy is what I have named my trophy fish throughout my 30 plus years of fishing the Great Lakes. It’s the name given to my personal best fish, whatever the species may be that day. Fat Nancy is what I have been known to call out as we search the lake for that next trophy fish to be tugging at my line. “Here Fat Nancy, where are you.” In my world the name Fat Nancy is an honor, it’s a name reserved for the true beasts that swim out there in the Great Lakes.

The Bay of Green Bay is one of the premier spots in the Midwest to catch Walleye and Smallmouth Bass, making it a favorite destination for decades. We typically fish out of the Sturgeon Bay area, known for world class Smallmouth Bass and trophy Walleye action. April kicks off the season casting and jigging for pre-spawn trophy Walleye. From June through August we will be casting for Smallmouth Bass and trolling for Walleye. We wrap up open water fishing in September and October fishing for Bass, Brown Trout and Walleye.
Once the Bay of Green Bay freezes over we will get you out on the ice where you can get in on the Whitefish bite and possibly some Perch. Our house in Sturgeon bay is in a prime location for great Whitefish action. We only guide small groups so we can focus on your group's needs.
If you’re in the Milwaukee area and Salmon and Trout are your desired species, then we are the guide service for you. Captain Chris has been fishing Salmon and Trout out of Milwaukee for over 25 years, so his knowledge of the area and techniques will put you on the fish.
Whether you are experienced or have never fished before, we will do our best to ensure that you walk away from your fishing adventure a better angler.

Sit back, relax and enjoy a leisurely cruise as we set out to witness one of Door County’s magnificent sunsets. You are welcome to bring any food and/or drink you’d like, including alcoholic beverages. Enjoy the breathtaking sites on shore and on the waters of Green Bay. Our tour route varies to ensure the best possible sunset viewing opportunities. Don’t forget to bring your camera!
